Everything!! :P

Okay...I know it's been forever since I really posted about what's going on in the life of Ali and/or in the Wickham household so here's a summery of everything I can think of at the moment that's been going on.
Dad's doing well, I helped him relandscape and build a French Drain by the side of the house on Monday, and he and Samantha have been doing a lot in her room, sanding mostly. They come out of there looking like powdered donughts...It's so funny! Mom's doing well, loving work. She got her promotion to Team Lead and so she works longer hours and we see her a little bit less, but she's doing well. :) Samantha is really excited she's going all 80's to prom. She looks so cool! I would have gone 80's with her but I couldn't find a dress that fit me and the theme :( So Samantha get's to be the super cool and fun one while I wear gold and black because it was well on the only thing that would fit me....oh well maybe next time. Derik's all excited because he's almost beat his Zelda wii game. Maren's excited because her Best Friend Stacy is being baptized tonight. So as you can tell lots of excitement going around! lol. Like I said, I helped my Dad on Monday, went out with Devin on Tuesday. I had a lot of fun and it was nice to get to go hang out with him away from school...lol. :) On Wednesday I went to Kaitlynn's house and hung out with her and Ashlee. We watched UP and The Guardian and Emma, and ate steak. Yum. Than on Thursday all of us girls went up to the Springs with my mom and Sister Iler and we went all over on the hunt for a prom dress. I found one that'll work so hopefully I can pull it off. It's got kinda of an old Hollywood Glamour thing going. It's pretty fun and elegant and I don't expect to see anyone else with my kinda look, so that'll be a plus. We had a really great day and got drinks from Orange Julius wich is one of my most favorite things!! Yay! lol. And than yesterday we went shoe shopping with Kaitlynn and Tiasha but there aren't any strappy gold shoes anywhere in Pueblo! It was incredibly frustrating, so the hunt goes on. We ran into Cody at the Mall and talked for a while, he's so funny, he was frustrated cause he's trying to match Felecia for prom but there isn't any place that has the same color of red. lol. Than we sang Suessical really loudly in the Target parking lot and that was pretty funny. And than we came home and the Missonaries were over for dinner so we got to hang out with the awesome Elder Maughn, and meet and hang out with Elder Taylor who's really nice and just like almost every other Elder I've ever met really funny and awesome. lol. Now we're getting ready to go back out on the hunt for shoes and to get some stuff for Samantha's room.

Stuff...

Hmm... what to say... Well.. it's Spring Break!!! Woohoo! Although, as weird as this sounds, I kinda miss school and seminary...well at least seeing my friends...lol. We went to dinner at the Eyler's house on Saturday with the Missonaries...it was pretty fun. They're all so funny! And I babysat for the Higbee's for like 10 hours Saturday morning and afternoon so they could go the the Temple...What else??? Hmm... I'm still dress shopping, I almost got one last night, but it just didn't look right..I don't know...maybe I'm to vain...I really shouldn't expect perfection, but I can't help but want it! lol. Hmm... So....I had a really long talk with my old friend from the 4H in New Mexico the other day. It was really nice to catch up. I still have homework to do before school starts again...Yuck! Doesn't really sound fun.... So what's up with all my awesome friends?

Alrighty, so I'm so busy!!! I have 2 papers to write tonight, plus the seminary party at 7:00 and Matt and Spencer want me to go to Denim's birthday party tonight before the seminary party!! It's crazy, but totally awesome! I would much rather be busy than bored! Things are going pretty well right now. I'm missing the past a little bit, but I'm really happy with where I am and I'm so excited for where my future's going! I had a college interview the other day and it was pretty nerve racking, but from what I hear, I rocked it!!! So... I'm pretty sure I passed. I'm still

filling out job applications, I hate being broke! :P Hmm... I've been helping my friends set up blogs. Devin's really enjoying his Office blog...lol, and Alayna and Kayla seem to be having a good time with theirs too. I'm getting ready to finish the middle school yearbook, and that'll be a HUGE relief! coping! Oh, yeah, and I got my hair cut!!! Short with lots of layers and bangs! I was nervous but I'm growing used to it, and everyone else seems to like it.

Random News

It's Tuesday... there's something about Tuesday's. They are good cause we have Young Women's on Tuesday nights, but than again.... it's not Monday so it's not the beginning of  the week, and it's not Wednesday so it's not the middle of the week...hmmm. I'm so bored! Miss Miller's talking about hot guys in People magazine, and so we're really not getting anything done for our debates. Hmm. Considering all that's happened the past few days, I'm doing really well! Prom's coming up so I'm going dress shopping this week! Yay!! I have really awesome friends, and so life is good! Hmm...I got a Facebook! I'm on there as Payton Haylee though for security issues...so if you get a friend request know that it's from me! Now Alayna, Mrs. Miller, Donavin, and Jon are talking about wether Ryan Reynolds is hot or not.... I think we're supposed to be in class... but I guess not. Now we're picking a supreme court case to debate. I'm soo bored!!! I bet this post will probably read by the guys in 7th hour today while I'm in Suessical rehearsal's.... so.. Hi DEVIN!, Spencer!, Matt!, and who else might read this??? MR. BIGGERS!  Ish! Ashlee! Kelsey! Samantha!! Ugh! I'm so bored! I wish I had plans this weekend....I really don't want to work on the garden again! I'm still bruised from plowing on Saturday! This is the most random post EVER!! hmm.... I hope I don't have homework tonight! This blog is beginning more and more popular for some reason... not that I mind. Okay, I guess we're debating the U.S. against Nixon so.... this might be a fun project. You guys should seriously comment on my posts because I love reading what you have to say. ;) Wow... so here! Comment about this... Should I cut my hair before or after Prom? And I was thinking a little above shoulder length, layers, maybe side sweep bangs, and maybe I'll highlight it... Platinum Blonde. What is your opinion??

The Pride Cycle

Have you ever experianced a time when you feel like everythings going really well, and than life throws you a curve ball and you fall flat on your face? Well, my life was going really well, dad's getting better, mom got a promotion, I have friends that love me and care a lot about me, an awesome boyfriend who shares my standards and is easy to trust!, even seminary is going really well! And than I fell flat on my face, lucky for me all those blessings I listed acted like a saftey net and are keeping me up. Thank you. But through all that I have to deal with the parts of life that cause you to regret and make you wish things could have turned out differently. Everyone is put in your life for a reason, to teach you something even if that lesson is not blatently apparent when it happens, or even afterwards. Is it possible to meld two very differnt lives and sets of ideas and standards into a relationship that will remain harmonious through trials? Is it possible to repair the damage caused when the famous Pride Cycle kicks in and knocks your feet out from under you? I wonder....But it's amazing that throughout it all life maintains this majestic kind of beauty like the calm in the eye of the storm. Another testament to dancing in the rain rather than wasting life waiting for the storm to pass.

Heya

Well, I thought I'd get on and let you all know that Samantha's hair turned out really well! She's now a very happy strawberry blonde. I also thought that I'd tell you that I'm very excited because I've oficially been in the newspaper. Even though I was just a miniscule dot behind Horton the Elephants shoulder...oh well. I was still there. lol. I'm getting ready to go up to Rebecca's baptisim, and than I'm gonna hang out with Ann for a while. How are all of you? Happy Spring!!

News

Well...here's my news. I'm no longer single! Before you all freak out though, I'm dating Devin (the guy I told you about from the Valentines Dance...) He's a strong member of the church! Yay! He's saved like every penny he's ever had from birth, for his misson fund. He's student body president, so that's cool too! My dad likes him, so that's a huge plus!! Yeah...so there's that...There's not much else going on right now...It's prom time, and our yearbook deadline, and the musical's getting closer. And CSAP's...How's your life? I'm going to take pictures of the track team tommorow for the yearbook, and than i'm meeting Kaitlynn Porter and Brianna at the Dew Drop Inn for dinner, that we might go to the Y and work out, and maybe swim.
Then, on Saturday I'm going to go see my beautiful cousin Rebecca be baptized! So exciting and special! I can't believe she's 8 already! Well...comment, or email me. I love to hear from you guys! Samantha just dyed her hair so I'm gonna go see how that went, I'll keep you posted!
